Bathtub to Swimming Pool Video Membership

I’ve been coaching swimming for all ages for 20+ years. My strengths are helping swimmers overcome their fear of the water and fine tuning their strokes by using hand over hand assistance and mindfulness techniques. Each year, I get a variety of clients who want me to teach them how to swim. Some clients are out of the area and consistently ask me each year. I’ve decided to take my years of teaching and create swim videos where everyone can learn simple and easy ways to swim and enhance their swimming strokes. The best part is you can support your child from the time they are born until they are grown. You are their best teacher and I have created simple and easy steps to start practicing in the bathtub and swimming pool. Practicing 5-10 minutes a day is all you need.

Each video includes:

  • Detailed information about each stroke (beginner and advanced techniques)

  • Demonstrations using hand over hand assistance in and out of the water

  • Dry-land activities you can practice out of the water

  • Water activities you can practice in the water

  • Questions to ask yourself

  • Parent tips

What my clients are saying…

  • One-of-a Kind Swim Instructor

“Kelsey is a one-of-a-kind swim instructor. She takes the necessary time and extra effort to improve my daughter’s strokes. She personalizes her lessons to my daughter’s needs and provides hands on instruction, getting in the water to improve her form, movements, and overall technique. Kelsey even provides exercises for at-home work to help my daughter improve strength, flexibility, and form. She is an amazing teacher, person, and mentor to guide our daughter in her swimming journey. Kelsey is the best swim coach your child could ask for!”

    ~ Heike K.

  • Unique and Creative Approach

“We love Coach Kelsey and all that she does for our swimmers! Kelsey’s positive attitude shines through as she provides unique and creative approaches to build confidence and belief in oneself. Her focus on technique and ability to communicate in a way that resonates with children of all ages is what makes her such an excellent coach! She goes the extra mile and will often send us notes of encouragement and swim tips even outside of practice and lessons.”

    ~ Lindsey C.

  • Strikes the Right Balance

“Kelsey is a fantastic swim instructor. After many years of paying for private lessons at a facility, with no real results to show for it, I brought my 4yo and 6yo girls to Kelsey for lessons in the summer of 2020. The amount of progress she was able to make with them in a very short amount of time was nothing short of amazing. She strikes exactly the right balance of being fun and personable with the kids and then pushing them to get swimming, even in the face of their natural fears and anxiety. This, in turn, gets the kids to see that they really can do this, which helps them to get over the fear and start to have more fun in the water, proud of their independence. This is so different from my prior experience where I saw the teachers too quick to acquiesce and allow the kids to talk them out of making them try new things, which really just lead to no real progress to speak of, not to mention a waste of money. I whole-heartedly recommend Kelsey to anybody looking to get their kids safe in the pool!”

    ~ Christina P.

  • Patience and Persistence

“My children worked with Kelsey for two summers, about 16 weeks total. Our weekly lessons took my nine-year-old from a basic freestyle to a confidently performing all four basic strokes in the first eight weeks. During the second summer she perfected her strokes, dives and turns and was swim team ready. Our younger child went from being fearful of water to jumping off the diving board into 10 feet and swimming to the shallow end. The kids loved working with her and I admire Kelsey’s patience and persistence. Without hesitation, I recommend Kelsey for beginner swim lessons to advanced level technics!”
